Over our 20 years, Poetry in Action has engaged, inspired, and educated hundreds of thousands of school students across the globe, from Australia to New Zealand, the UAE, and – of course – Hong Kong. We are thrilled to be bringing our dynamic educational performances to Hong Kong in October.

THE POETS’ QUEST: primary level

Embark on an epic adventure with The Poets’ Quest! Join Blake as he discovers the future of the world hinges on his poetic prowess! MUSE IT OR LOSE IT: junior high level

Discover the magic of self-expression through poetry and creative writing in Muse It or Lose It! On Mount Helicon, the Muses argue over whether music or poetry is the best art form. Students will follow zany characters in a high-energy comedy exploring music and poetry through live performances. The show examines forms from sonnets to slam poetry, linking classic literature with contemporary works, and showcasing techniques such as metaphor, symbolism, and intertextuality. It’s an ideal tool for engaging students with their poetry and inspiring literary talents. Perfect for students aged 13-15.
