Announcing National Touring Partner

A national partnership to reach more young people

Poetry in Action is proud to announce a new multi year national touring partnership with InfraBuild, supporting our mission to bring the power of language to more young people across Australia.

This partnership provides the stability to expand our reach year after year, ensuring students in metropolitan, regional and remote communities can access high quality arts and education experiences. Together, we are creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, strengthen communication skills and engage more deeply with language and learning.

In 2026, the partnership will come to life through three key community activations across New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. Each activation will include a school performance alongside a broader community event, connecting students, educators, local communities and industry.

These activations will also incorporate our 2026 Poetry in Action Ambassadors, mid career poets who will join us as artistic guests, performers and advocates for the power of words. Their involvement will deepen engagement and bring additional creative leadership to each location.

For InfraBuild, this partnership represents a meaningful investment in the communities in which they operate, supporting education, youth development and future workforce pathways. For Poetry in Action, it enables us to continue growing our national impact and ensuring that more young people, regardless of location, can experience the transformative power of live performance.
